Cambridge is full of things to see and do and it is only a 15 minute walk from Fitzwilliam College into the City centre. Turn right from the car park onto Huntingdon Road, continue down Castle Hill and cross the river at Magdalene Bridge onto Bridge Street (then see city centre map to get around).

Places to Eat:
Those wanting food on Friday evening there are many eating places within a few minutes of the College. Leaving via the North Gate for the College Car Park turn right down Huntingdon Road towards Castle Hill road. There are a number of restaurants on Castle Hill, only minutes whilst at the crossroads there is a Chop House and good pub (The Punter) in Northampton Street as well as a couple of restaurants (Italian and Thai) and a pub (The Pickerel) down Magdalene Street. The other side of Magdalene Bridge (only 5 minutes from the College) there are a very large number and variety of restaurants as well as a couple of pubs.
